The view is absolutely amazing. However, I really enjoyed the accomodation too. The rooms are spaceous en comfortable, the bed is really good, the pool is refreshing and the accomodation in general is very atmospherical. Also, the breakfast was very good. Finally, I liked the fact that the room was isolated quite well, which you generally do not see too often outside of northern europe. On the balcony, you could hear all kinds of sounds, from traffic to dogs to neighbors, but with the door closed it was nice and quiet.

Just some minor things. The parking can be challenging, but I guess that's unavoidable with such steep streets. Also, there was a coffee machine in the room, but no power nearby. Other than that, it was amazing!

The property was stunning, felt like you were on an island somewhere, great views and really nice and secluded

The pool, hottub and lava pools were quite cold, nice on a hot day but expecting hot tub to get warmer and never did. No hot water to the outside bathtub in our room. Very remote, would have been nice to have drinks available in the property during the day

Beautiful property on a great location. Wonderful hospitality, facilities were good.

The property could use some full-time maintenance to make it all look perfect! Also the shower wasn’t always working fine.

the views are stunning, it has a cool pool and we had spacious room with a lot of privacy.

the Buddha theme in Madeira doesn’t work for me and is confusing. it makes the entire space and particularly the rooms cluttered and chaotic. the personnel are indifferent and clueless.
