The lovely warm welcome from the family. The off the beat location. Spotting a deer and squirrel at the property. Beautiful old house with the most comfortable bed!

A beautiful, warm and friendly place to stay. I did not expect dinners to be available but was very pleasantly surprised that the wonderful hosts could provide great, homely meals around a table with other guests. We had to change our holiday because of forest fires near Bordeaux, and the hosts kindly let us stay another night while we worked out what to do. Great place.
The pool was a little cold for our baby, but that’s not a problem as such - by next year it will be fine!
