Devossion By Live Aqua Playa del Carmen All Inclusive - Adults Only

It was gorgeous… everything was amazing!

Food was amazing, staff were amazing, nothing to complain about! Best all inclusive we’ve been to in our 20 yrs of marriage.

Devossion turned out to be a fantastic resort on the beach right in the middle of Playa del Carmen. The staff, food, views and really everything was outstanding. Surprisingly, the gym was well equipped and maintained which was a huge benefit for us.

While the restaurants and food quality are outstanding, it got a bit repetitive at some point especially for longer stays I would've loved to have more variation and rotating menus. In terms of activities, we did the "bike tour" which was a big disappointment to say the least. Driving from the hotel to the pier 10min away is not worth it.

I really enjoyed the property. The staff was amazing. I will be returning. It was amazing experience. I love the Starbucks coffee and the staff. There was amazing as well.

The only thing I did not like was there was not a lot of food variety. I wish you could’ve been more breakfast variety.

The location was nice, right in front of the beach and nearby to downtown playa del carmen. The ac was strong and comfortable, the cleaning staff were friendly and did a great job in our rooms.

This didnt feel like a 5 star resort. The elevator smelled like it was cleaned with a moldy mop. The beach beds were only available for an extra cost. The entertainment in the room we had didnt have any streaming services available, to watch movies you have to pay extra. No food was included in our stay, the adult swimming pool closes after 7 pm, laundry service is not complimentary and the rates for laundry were astronomical. the fridge in the room was barely cold. As a religious couple, we felt really uncomfortable with a certain other religious group praying in the lobby and all over the resort. We didn't come on vacation to have that sort of thing smeared on our faces every time we leave our room. The hotel should have a private room dedicated to this sort of thing because ot makes other guest uncomfortable. Especially in this political climate we are in. Best to keep these things to yourself and in private to avoid conflict.
