Location is fabulous. Overlooking Loch Ness with cruises on the doorstep. A few steps from a small town with shops and restaurants.
One niggle is you have to remove all your own rubbish/bins. Surely for the price you pay to stay this could be included.
8 / 10Doskonały·sie 2026
The location close to Loch Ness and Fort Augustus canal locks, the impressive historic monastery building, the spacious and clean apartments with classic Scottish interior.
Huge complex with long and short term guests, rather anonymous, very expensive, small bedrooms, booking required to use pool, tiny sauna (was cold and by the time it was warm, our time was up).
6 / 10Średni·lip 2026
The setting is gorgeous, directly on Loch Ness in an historic building much character. There are many things to do nearby and on property. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. The kitchen was reasonably well stocked.
The units are not as nice as the photos. The furniture is dated. The walls need fresh paint and new moldings. There are very heavy doors between every room due to fire code. I know it’s unavoidable but it makes each room seem closed off. Moreover the doors are heavy and noisy which is disruptive especially at night.
