The resort was just as pictured and the staff were helpful when there during the day. The continental breakfast was delicious and homemade. I recommend opting for the puddle jumper plane, as the car ride is very slow due to the speed bumps.

DO NOT go in October; several things are closed, including bars and tours, and the sargassum smell is unbearable at times. It is also the month when hotels/restaurants/etc. do renovations. Frankly, the hotel should have been discounted during this time. The hotel's walk-out beach isn't a walk-out when sargassum is in. I assume if it had been a different month, we could have enjoyed all that the hotel offers, including the paddle boards and kayaks. Note: The bar prices are higher at the hotel than at the other bars, yet other places are very close.

Breakfast was amazing and the staff were so kind and friendly.

There was an enormous amount of sargassum, unfortunately it all seems to flow directly to CBC's private beach. There was so much piled up we couldnt even swim in the ocean. They did have a couple of workers cleaning it but there was so much (multiple feet deep) they barely made a dent.

Everything - the staff were so friendly (even taking us to the bus stop at 5.30 am), the room was beautiful, and the location was perfect. Lovely cat! Great breakfasts! Hugely recommended as a base in beautiful placencia.

This place is a gem. It is quaint, with only nine villas. Wonderful staff that go way beyond to make your stay relaxing and wonderful. The rooms are spacious with calming decor. The place is very convenient and steps away from all activities, shops and restaurants. Nice beach front (sometimes there is Sargassum but they let you know before you even arrive if there is any). They also made reservations for the air trip from Belize City and back. Shuttle from airport and back is included. Also included is the breakfast which they bring to your room every morning. The room has coffee and creamer and some snacks too. You come as a customer but you leave as a friend.
