The new standard rooms to the rear of the property are awesome.

All the facilities we needed for a 2 night stay. Steve is an excellent host full of good local knowledge. Motel is ideally located for a 20 min walk or a 5 min drive to the CBD or Āwa. Unit was spotless.
Will stay again

Staff were very friendly
Bed was very uncomfortable and had a terrible sleep. Outside light was on until late and was so bright in the room even with the curtains shut. Big long black hairs on the wall in the bathroom which was not on. Shower very small and shower head was loose and dripped. Office smelt like stale smoke and not very inviting.
