Banaras Old Homestay

Same as our first booking everything was great. For that reason we decided to stay another night in this hidden gem.

Nothong at all

The Banaras Old Homestay is very close to Assi Ghat and its morning and evening Aartis - only a 5 mins walk away. Dashashwamedh Ghat and other attractions can be reached after a 25 mins walk trough the narrow and fascinating ways through the old town. The two brothers, Naveen and Krishna, run this Guesthouse in a very good manner and are realy lovely people. Money change, SIM cards, trips, airport pickups and drops and every other wishes - they will organize everything for their guests. Hot water, AC, fan - everything is working perfect and rooms are very clean. Breakfast is served at the rooftop, good restaurants are very close. We can highly recommend to stay here. Thank you so much for a perfect stay in Varanasi.

Staff were very pleasant and super helpful The room was big Bathroom was clean Staff provided hot water and other necessities when asked

The location is hard to find for autos Had to climb quite a few stairs to get to breakfast which was on the roof The blanket in the room had a weird smell

host is very nice, location is quite okay, ac is working

bedding is dirty, everything is generally dirty and used. water smells, ac barely works. it’s not the worst india experience, it’s definitely on the worst side. but you can make it
