The Somerset Grandview Shenzhen is a fantastic property with all the facitilities that we needed, especially with a gym and washing machine in each apartment. The staff is very helpful, friendly and have someone who can speak English, and the apartment itself is a decent size with lots of room to make you feel comfortable. Also there are many food and local restaurant places just outside the Somerset. Highly recommended.

Can't really change this, but the Somerset Grandview is a little outside the central shopping district in Futian, which would take about a 10-15 walk to get there. This also applies if you need to take the train somewhere asa well, as most of the stations are within the Futian shopping district, but there is a bus stop around an 8-10min walk away if you are heading to a specific areas from the Somerset.

I stayed in a 2 Bedroom suite which really suited my needs. Location was convenient. It’s in the middle of residential area which felt very safe

There were some construction going on. It was no the noise as I was out in the day but more the ambience of the hoarding at the drive way

The apartment was everything we needed for the trip. Good amount of space, great air conditioning, good location and fantastic staff.

Due to maintenance not all facilities were available but it didn’t overly impact our stay. Breakfast was fine, not great.

Look, the location is fine if you are willing to take a taxi to coco-mall every day. Which is where the public transport is. The breakfast was pretty modest but whatever they had was good. And the quality was alright.

The first issue we had was with renovation going on in the hotel. We booked the room in Q4 last year and they decided to start renovations Q1 this year. Instead of letting us know via e-mail they kept quiet about it. So, now it was really noisy and also the floor with facilities was closed and unavailable. Furthermore, the pool requires an extra fee and it turns out the pool is not part of the hotel. Which was not stated in the hotel description. Worst of all, there are cockroaches in the room. Which is a huge scare for us. The receptionist told us it is normal for this area since roaches are common in this humid part of the city.. not the response I expected. I stayed at other hotels in Shenzen, but this was the first time I had roaches..
