The character of the windmill itself and was well kept
The blades were not on as per photo though this was a little disappointing there’s likely safety reasons behind it
But to be honest it’s a minor thing

Nicola sent really clear instructions for check-in as she wouldn't be on site.
The room was really lovely, clean and very tastefully decorated.
Really good location, not far from South Bay.
Would definitely recommend and will definitely go back.
Only that breakfast was no longer available, however Nicola gave lots of recommendations.

The quirkiness of staying in a windmill ticked off a box on two bucket lists
Nothing just be aware once above the roof height of the surrounding buildings you are more open to buffeting wind while climbing the outside steps

The windmill, courtyard and positive messages were lovely. The host was nice. The towels were nice and fluffy.
A parking space right outside the accommodation was not ideal. The lroprty is not particularly well equipped - such as limited knives, no frying pan, no sponge to wash up. There was no salt or pepper, which I usually come to expect when booking self catering accommodation.The TVs are not smart tvs and did not have great signal, so was not watchable. The bathrooms smelt slightly mouldy too.
