This was a lovely setting with a great view and it seems like it would be very comfortable in season. However, even though we prepaid on booking.com I feel they were not expecting us and not prepared. When we showed up there were no clear signs to the property and no one was there. We asked some locals and they found the caretaker for us who let us in. He was nice, and his daughter(?) came and cooked for us and his brother who spoke excellent English and is a guide in the area came to make sure we were OK and answer questions. They were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was freezing. Possibly the hotel wasn't really open for the season, so the whole building was very cold our whole stay, and we ended up catching colds for the rest of the trip despite sleeping in many many layers of clothing. Also the wifi wasn't working. If you come in a shoulder season I suggest calling first and making sure they are expecting you!

The owner was so kind and welcoming to us. It’s a very special place and a unique experience. Grateful to have seen this lovely place.
