It was really comfortable, Sven was an amazing host and it everything went very smoothly.

Loved my stay at The Boatel. Sven obviously cares really deeply about the quality of service and experience and he absolutely delivers on both!
In the bathroom, there was a noticeable sewage smell. I’m not sure if this is typical or not. But this is the only small detail that I didn’t love. If it’s typical and unavoidable, you should read my reviews as 10s across the board!

The location is excellent you have a short walk to the centre of Ghent yet away from the crowds. The boat /room is fabulous very spacious and very clean.
