The overall ambiance and the house itself. Thierry is an excellent and personable host; it may be he was able to give usxs bit more time/chat as it was a Sunday morning over a very good breakfast.
Very convenient for Maise (25 min.walk/ 4 min.drive ) and some excellent Belgian beer.
Not a dislike but we were in converted (very well converted) roof space and the partly sloping roof was a bit of a pain.

Very well appointed with the owners personality. The owner couldn’t do enough for me and my colleague.
You need a car to take advantage of the nearby village.

Host very kind
Bed was a bit firm. I could have done with another pillow. However, one pillow seems standard in Germany

Overall, a nice quiet place.
The room was not at all like the one in the photo. There was no separate bathroom, but a bathtub right in the bedroom. So it was very damp in the room. Be careful, the toilet was not really in the room but across the common corridor. I did not pay attention to it. But I had no idea that this was the case.
