Roberta and Louisa were so welcoming and had great local recommendations for restaurants. The area was so quiet and the Masseria itself was beautiful. We were very grateful to be upgraded to a pool-side larger room! The breakfast each morning was perfect too.

Amazingly beautiful place, very charming atmosphere. The hosts are people of great culture and true masters of the art of hospitality. It's a real pleasure to meet them. The family lives on the property and welcomes guests almost as if they were staying in a large private home. The atmosphere is intimate and personal rather than formal. The history of Masseria Palane is almost like a novel set in Southern Italy — and once you have stayed there, it becomes easier to understand why the place has such a distinctive soul.

the facility was clean, quiet and the pool area was pleasant to relax in.
The cost was too high for mediocre amenities; for 4 people in an apartment, there was one small couch and 2 uncomfortable chairs located just off the living space. the kitchen was not well designed or well equipped - we had to ask for S&P and were told people are expected to purchase their own but then offered some on our last day. The breadfast was mediocre. Other accommodations we have stayed at in puglia offered far more value.
