Apartments Tabor

What an amazing place, close to the nature. A true Slovenian village. The management is extremely sweet and accommodating.

Absolutely nothing

Great location for exploring Slovenia – easy access to Bled and Velika Planina, and Ljubljana is also within a reasonable distance. The accommodation has a restaurant, which is a nice option even though we personally did not use it. The room was comfortable enough and had air conditioning, which was especially useful during the very hot weather. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. When we noticed that there was no chopping board in the kitchen, we asked if we could borrow one and the staff were happy to provide it for us.

The kitchen does not have a cooker hood/extractor fan. This was not something I noticed from the photos or information before booking, and it was quite noticeable when cooking dinner. When preparing food with garlic or onions, the smell remained in the room for quite a while. The cleanliness could have been better in some small details. There were a few squashed mosquitoes on the walls, which I personally think should have been removed during cleaning. The room we stayed in was quite small, partly because of the sloped ceiling/roof, which reduced the usable space and headroom in some areas.

The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and in a great location for exploring the area. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. We truly appreciated their hospitality and would happily stay here again.

Nothing to complain about. Everything met our expectations, and the hosts made us feel very welcome throughout our stay.

The room was clean and comfortable.

We booked apartments Tabor because it had a restaurant. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed from 1800 on Sunday evening and does not reopen until Wednesday at 1200. Our stay was from Sunday - Tuesday which meant there were no restaurant facilities for the whole of our stay. We were not informed about this by our host when we made the booking. We were checked in by a member of the restaurant staff. That was the last member of staff we saw for the whole of our stay. Once the restaurant closed the place was deserted. The property description also mentions a barber/beauty shop and listed many beauty treatments. I did not see any sign of this on the property. Our room description said there was a dining area in the suite. There was no dining area. Otherwise the suite was ok but could do with the addition of a fridge.
