Attalos Suites Hotel

Stayed here for 3 nights in September 2026 to visit the ruins of Pergamon. Ideally situated close to the cable car to visit the acropolis and around a 20 minute walk away from the Asklepion ruins. The ruins are amazing and well worth the trip to see them. Attalos Suites is in a very quiet location and just a short walk away from the old town. Room a good size and very comfortable and clean with a fridge, TV and kettle. Decent shower in the bathroom. Very good Turkish breakfast, 10€ for a large selection of small plates of hot and cold items including local cheeses, fruit, yoghurt and scrambled eggs and a good start to the day. Staff very friendly and helpful and very welcoming. We had dinner one night at the hotel which was very good, one night we at ate at the restaurant just down the road which was also very good, our last night we ate at a newly opened restaurant called Tabak by the river which was just so, so. Would definently stay here again and Bergama is a lovely traditional Turkish town as yet unspoilt by over-tourism.

The Attalos Suites Hotel was lovely. Set in a rustic garden environment it was relaxing and comfortable. Breakfast served in the garden was excellent and the staff extremely attentive.

Everything was spot on!

This was a gem of a place! It feels like entering an oasis. We had dinner at the hotel and it was truly excellent. Very friendly service, tasty food and perfect ambience after a busy day.

Nothing not to like! Shower floor slippery but they do warn you.

We slept well, the food was okay, the bed okay - we were lucky with quiet neighbours. The fire in the dining room was great, and the ambiance there lovely.

It’s double the price it should be, both food and stay. We paid £50 for an adequate but overcooked - and somehow cold - supper. The accommodation was £105 through Booking. See the photo. It’s not what it says it is. Technically this may be a “suites hotel” but in truth it’s just a guest house. It’s an okay guest house but if you had noisy neighbours it would probably be hell. Just the keys for the doors were complicated - 3 similar looking keys for 3 doors to get to our “suite”. That was nine attempts in our ineptitude. But it was secure and we slept well. If it was half the price we’d chance it again but never at the price we paid. We felt ripped off.
