Hotel Algorfa

The staff were very friendly and informative and the breakfast was served until late in the mornings so no rush.There was entertainment on almost every night which was a bonus

It would be an advantage if the rooms have a small refrigerator just to keep drinks cool. Also a seperate hair dryer although one was provided when requested.

Convenient location for visiting family locally. Large room & comfortable beds

Wetroom looks grubby where floor & wall meet (Room 202) & the drainage is poor because the whole floor gets wet. The shower attachment is not fixed properly so when the water is turned on, it sprays everywhere. Poor supply of toiletries. Noise insulation is very poor. The wardrobe & bathroom doors are clunky & you can hear them being opened & closed in other rooms. Also,could hear clearly the person in the next room talking on the phone at 3am. The decor in the room could do with refreshing & a little more attention to detail with accessories such as a picture or two is needed. The check in process was dreadful. They have a new computer system which only one person seems to know how to use but he kept being called away from the reception desk leaving his colleague unable to move forward with checking guests in. The person checking in, in front of us had to leave her TIE card as a security deposit because the new system wouldn't accept Visa or Mastercard. Very poor first impression. The staff are pleasant but there appears to be too few staff & too much multi tasking which leads to delays to someone being available.

Meeting friends who live in algorfa. Hotel was affordable for a 3 night stay Beds and towels were very clean Breakfast was good and staff very nice

Dust in room Sockets in strange places Bedside table only on 1 side Nowhere to sit except on bed
