The location and grounds are a tropical paradise. The food was excellent.
On a previous visit, the AC did not work well. This time it did work well, and Inslept comfortably.

A tiny bit expensive. And no kettle, no tea, nothing in my bedroom (same last time in a different bedroom). Shuttle to airport not free of charge

Very nice hotel a stones throw from the lake. French style cuisine and nice restaurant. Rooms are nicely appointed and gardens are impressive and beautifully maintained too.
Price level is expensive, on a par with European prices.

The ambiance is great by the pool and lake. The food was also very good. The pizza crust was excellent!
The major issue is how hot the rooms are. For years we have given feedback that the ACs in most of the rooms work poorly but this issue has not been addressed. If they weren’t charging a premium price, I could understand. They should at least provide high quality fans in the rooms. It is hard to get a good night’s sleep with the heat there.
