Banchi Vecchi Stay Rooms

We had a lovely 4-day stay in Rome. The room was clean, comfortable and the perfect size, with a lovely bathroom. Alessandra was a wonderful host — we met her when we arrived and she gave us some great recommendations. The location was perfect, around a 20–35 minute walk to the Colosseum and Vatican City, and about 20 minutes to Trastevere for great restaurants! We especially loved La Barchetta for aperitivo, Forno Monteforte for the BEST pizza slices and morning pastries, and Vino e Olio for a glass of wine before bed — all just a few minutes’ walk away. We had a great stay and will definitely be back!

The location is absolutely amazing - right in the heart of everything. I’d definitely recommend taking time to explore the street itself, as it’s full of great restaurants, bars, and shops. It’s a fantastic base for enjoying the best of Rome

While I understand the building is quite old, the shower had some visible mould that could use attention, and the reception area was very dark. Additionally, only one roll of toilet paper was provided for the entire stay, which was a bit inconvenient
