We had an amazing stay and a truly memorable experience in the historic centre of Gallipoli. We stayed in the large room with its incredibly high ceilings, decorated with beautifully restored Baroque/Rococo frescoes. It genuinely felt like staying in an old Italian palazzo. The room is spacious, elegant and very comfortable, with a lovely bathtub, a comfortable bed and a large bathroom. A perfect place for a couple looking for something a little special. We particularly appreciated all the thoughtful little complimentary touches in the room and the delightful breakfast where we enjoyed excellent croissants and pasticciotti made by Simone's mother in the morning. A true taste of la dolce vita! Last but not least, Simone and his brother were incredibly kind and accommodating. After we accidentally left a personal item behind, they went out of their way to arrange for it to be shipped back home to us. A beautiful place, wonderful hospitality and an experience we would wholeheartedly recommend. Grazie ancora, Simone!

We had five fantastic days at this family‑run property, and their kindness and attention made our stay unforgettable. The place is well preserved and full of character, set right in the heart of the old town among narrow streets lined with cafés, trattorias, and small shops. We enjoyed every minute and felt completely at home.

The biggest downside was the lack of parking. There is paid parking available nearby, but finding a free spot was extremely difficult. We spent hours looking for a parking space every day, which was quite stressful and inconvenient. Another issue was the noise. The accommodation is very noisy, and it often feels like you are sleeping directly on the street, which makes it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Finally, the refrigerator was not cooling properly, which was also inconvenient.
