Hotel 1207 Special Class

I liked the location and how well it embraced the old with the new. It is very quaint.

My superior double room was at street level and very noisy. There is no sound proofing between the floors and that compounded the noise problem. It would have been good to have had the bins emptied at least every other day. And to have the drinking water replenished. The curtains really need to be fixed so that they can be closed especially when your room is at ground level and facing the street. The restaurant was not great.

Historical residence with authentic Ottoman atmosphere. The place is located inside the old town near Luna Garden, with wooden floors and beautiful walls in the rooms. Bathroom has all the necessary, toiletries and towels, bed is comfortable. They offer buffet breakfast and menu for lunch/ dinner. Reception is open 27/7 and ready to assist with all requests.

There was a bit of smell from the bathroom.

The best thing was location, the staff were friendly

The room felt outdated and was a bit dusty. The floor creaked a lot. At times water was lukewarm only, was told it was due to the weather, did eventually return after an hour so that was no problem. Breakfast was just a standard spread, nothing particularly special. The main issue for me were mosquitoes in the room which made the stay less comfortable. Another downside is that the hotel doesn’t provide an iron for guests to use. If you need your clothes ironing, they try to charge you 100 Turkish lira per item, which I find ridiculous, especially when it’s such a basic service to expect. Personally, I wouldn’t stay here again, and I wouldn’t recommend it unless location is your main priority.
