Y Motels Gympie

Always a pleasure staying here

Beds were comfortable and clean. Shower water was nice and hot, good water pressure and soap and shampoo/ conditioner provided. Also, tea/ coffee and biscuits provided. Staff were very helpful with afterhours check-in.

Shower area had a little mould near shower entry - That area could do with more attention, but other than that the rest was nice and clean.

Neat and clean

Nothing

The second night I stayed at Y Motel Gympie was wonderful, the unit was fully renovated, very clean and a very comfortable bed, even a nice view towards the park from my upper story room, and I loved that there was plantation shutters. The service was good. My car was parked outside my door under cover. My first night in another room wasn't great but the manager arranged for me to move to the renovated room early the next morning.

My first night was terrible as the room was unrenovated, smelled like disinfectant, was away from the main block of motel units, my car was parked on the footpath basically and I felt exposed with full length vertical blinds. The room even though had been cleaned had very stained old carpet and a very stained old couch. No tv in the "bedroom". I know they were booked out this night but I expected a room as per the photos online, had booked a few days prior. The bed was very comfortable and clean and the manager was most accommodating in changing my room the next morning.
