Location was fantastic. View of river out of one room and Guildhall and Castle out of the other. Room was good size and bed comfortable.
The staff (from restaurant below) were helpful and pizza we had was very good.
Paper bag breakfast was good apart from the sad croissant.
Bedding and towels had a few mystery marks on them but not so as to be unusable.
I would still stay there again.

The location cannot be beat! The staff is lovely! The breakfast bag in the morning was a great touch.
It's not filthy but it's definitely not clean. It's more like tidy. Our room (3) smelled like there was water damage. The bathroom had a whole other unpleasant smell.
The dust. The dust! The overhead light was not only missing a working lightbulb but was filthy with dust.
After reading other reviews regarding dust you'd think they'd be more on top of it.
The room, like I said, was tidy. It definitely needs a deep clean.

centre town location, great outlook, room clean with everything you need, surprise breakfast bag outside our door at 08:30.
the general staircase and stair carpet has seen better days and the large windows in our room were seized up so could not be opened for fresh air - there was a fan but that blew cold air out of its front but hot air out of its back. Parking in nearby official parks is expensive but there is limited free on-street parking if you hunt it out.

Comfy bed, good central location and large soft towels. Contactless check in was easy with the details provided.
Room was tired and not as clean as it could be. The water pressure in shower was really bad, very slow and literally dribbling out. We were on top floor which was ok for us but others might struggle with three flights of stairs and lots of luggage. Also lights in hallway didnt work so strggled to open door to room as couldnt see keyhole.
