The house and location are fabulous and very convenient to everything. This is the second occasion that we have stayed at Bush House.

Overall, the house inside is getting quite tired and knocked about. We had several small issues with lights and power points not working. The house was not cleaned very well before our arrival either and overall, the interior is quite run down. Kitchen items, like wine glasses, mugs etc are also lacking.

The house had everything we needed, comfortable beds, good heating and very quiet

The shower drain in main bathroom has a brown ring visible under the metal cap in the shower drain. Needs a good clean. White wool blanket in wardrobe in rear double room was dirty. Appears to have insect droppings. Other guests have commented on tree prunings being piled up in full view of lounge and bedrooms. It is unsightly and completely ruins the ambience of a nice home. Front and back yards covered in leaves. Could do with a good sweep prior to guests arriving. Annoying there are no insects screens and unable to open a window

Large house , nice open kitchen, great location close to downtown and few scenic spots

Non comfortable beds

Location not bad. About 15 minute walk into village. Take a torch as there are NO street lights and it was very dark at night. It was fairly well appointed with all you need in the way of kitchen utensils. Nice to have a washer and dryer too!

I can understand why it was called 'Bush House'! When you pull up it looks like someone's garage or a tin shed! It is right into the bush , so no windows can be opened at night, unless you want an insect invasion!
