Wonderful host, extremely comfortable beds, and refreshing pool. Breakfast was delicious. Perfectly located in town and was able to walk to the beach and all local restaurants and shops. Host had great recommendations and I would 100% stay here again.

In the Shade Hotel is great! Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. Rooms are spacious with comfy bed, aircon, wifi, fridge, safe. Pool is refreshing and long enough to do laps. Breakfast is super delicious with lots of options. Maggie, Sandra, Wyatt and staff are super friendly and always happy to help with anything. 😄 Vibes are super chill and totally recommend this hotel for your stay in Tamarindo. 10/10

The location was great, the staff were super friendly and helpful! The coworking space with strong ACs and good chairs is a great plus if you plan to work remotely.
The property physically was very worn out, the bathroom felt like it will fall into pieces. Very slow workers were constantly refurbishing something around the pull, but the property needs a major upgrade, not slight refurbishment.
