Casal d'Upupa

Sehr gepflegte Dependance einer Villa in einem wunderschönen Park. Alles ist ausgesprochen sauber und liebevoll im rustikalen, römischen Stil eingerichtet und dekoriert – eine echte kleine Oase. Für uns war die Unterkunft lediglich ein Zwischenstopp auf einer längeren Autoreise, da sie sehr günstig in der Nähe einer Autobahnausfahrt gelegen ist. Dafür war sie ideal. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und komfortabel, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und an den Fenstern gibt es praktische Mückennetze. Die Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, und auch die Kommunikation hat problemlos funktioniert.

Die Unterkunft liegt relativ nah an einer Bahnlinie, sodass man die vorbeifahrenden Züge gelegentlich deutlich hört. Nachts wurden wir davon allerdings nicht gestört.

the host and his family are kind and welcoming. The property doubles as "members only sport center" with a big common area with tables and benches, there is also a swimming pool and a tennis court. Arriving on a summer Sunday afternoon wasn't the ideal time choice as the town is literally shut even the main grocery store (CONAD). The host kindly provided some food and drinks for us so we could wait for the evening to go dine at a restaurant.

I have nothing to complain about the host or the property. I could have spent more than just 2 nights there but our travel schedule was already packed with other destinations.
