Absolute vfm. The view is the best in Ella. Simply gorgeous. Very good breakfast. Tushara, the man Friday, did everything right. The host and their parents are lovely people.

There is not much to do in ella if hiking is not your thing. Selecting a good homestay is important.

The balcony's view was so beautiful. We practiced Yoga there - a perfect spot. Breakfast was very good and changed day to day. The hosting family is so nice and generous. They were also attentive to our changing needs and supported us with any issue we had to solve. We loved being away from the center of town, but if you don't - check it up.

Great homestay, short walk (but lots of steps) to get to train track to walk into town. Good, filling variety of breakfasts. Lovely views, lovely family. We loved Ella.

The view is sensational. Didn't know what I was getting into when I booked this place and my jaw dropped when I pulled up. The view of Ella Rock and a waterfall are stunning. And visible from your room and balcony. The breakfast was simple yet very filling and delicious. The family was very friendly and helpful, most specifically the young man who cleans the rooms and handles the breakfast. Despite no AC, I was perfectly comfortable with the fan - often didn't even need it (February). The bed was comfortable and got my best nights sleep of the trip here. I rented a scooter in house and did laundry as well.

Since this is a family friendly place, there were LOTS of small children around. This meant additional noise and at times, breakfast was rather disruptive. Despite 3 available networks, the wifi in the room was not good. The owner consistently was trying to wheel and deal... a taxi ride, a tour, something. Just chill, let me come to you if I need something.
