Briggate Hotel

It would be quite an experience to live just next to the railway. The room certainly gets its style, which is interesting. I would love to see an HDMI cable extending from the TV, though

The checking process is not necessarily smooth. Send an email confirmation code for what reason? if you wanna introduce online check-in, you should make it as easy as possible rather than letting guests activate this this this that that that that and then send 100 emails for 100 steps. I eventually just gave up and let the staff do the check in

Hotel was beautiful x

A little bit of noise

Excellent Location and price

A little noisy in the morning

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was fantastic

There was no bin in the room and no kettle or tea / coffee making facilities (this was provided in the hallway downstairs, but there were no cups provided, which was a bit of a problem). The worst thing was we couldn’t sleep at all for the noise from people on the street outside shouting until the early hours and the pounding music from the nightclub next door went on until 6am. We had booked for 2 nights, but we ended up leaving after the first night and booking elsewhere as we needed a good night’s rest. Would never stay here again.
