Large and cozy apartment right in the old town center

The shower is smelly and in the small bathroom the water exit is stalled

The apartment itself was nice and the host was very friendly, responsive and cooperative. We booked the apartment at very short notice, literally after landing in Vilnius, due to an unexpected problem with our original accommodation. When we informed the host about the problems we found upon arrival, she responded immediately and arranged for someone to come and take care of them. Most of the issues were already resolved by the time we returned later that evening, and the shower was replaced the following morning. We really appreciated how quickly and professionally she reacted.

Unfortunately, the condition of the apartment when we first arrived was quite shocking. The apartment was dirty, the shower was broken, the bathroom sink plumbing was disconnected/missing, part of the sink unit was lying on the floor, there was a broken chair, and a broken part inside the refrigerator freezer. To the host’s credit, when I reported everything she was very apologetic and helpful. She explained that the apartment had not been rented for about a week and that a cleaner had already been sent. Most of the problems were dealt with very quickly. One other minor issue was check-out. I asked whether we could stay until 14:00 and the host kindly agreed, but the cleaners arrived at around 12:30, so in practice we felt we needed to leave earlier than agreed. Overall, our first impression of the apartment was unfortunately very poor, but the host’s response and willingness to resolve the problems made a significant difference.

המנורה בסלון לא עבדה והסלון היה חשוך , בעלת הבית הגיבה שזו אווירה מצויינת 🤦🏽‍♀️ היה חסר נייר טואלט .

The property was in a great location, and it also had free parking . Also the host was very prompt to answer our questions .

There was no welcome pack, so we knew nothing about the property and had to keep on asking questions. For example, there were seven of us and only six chairs around the dining table. We were told we could use the sofa, but that was much lower and would’ve been stupid around the dining table. We did however, found a stool, but it would’ve been useful to have seven proper chairs. We did a lot of cooking, and the electricity kept on tripping. Again, after sorting the fuse box out, and the electricity still tripping I had to ask and was told I had to go to the fuse box in the stairway. Again, this would’ve been useful if there had been an information pack to tell us what to do. there were no oven gloves so we had to find towels to take hot trays out of the oven when hot. There was a dishwasher, but no dishwasher tablets. There were only six knives and forks again. It would be much better to have 12 to 15 knives and forks and then you can put it all in the dishwasher and wash as one. They were plenty of glasses and coffee, mugs, and cups . There was a washing machine, but nothing to hang up and dry the clothes on. When I asked, I was told I would just have to hang them up over chairs and fours and there was no airer . However, we did actually find two airers in the property and were able to dry our clothes. we were only given one set of keys. With a group of seven this really wasn’t enough and again I had to ask, but we were given more keys after asking . the property is in a great location, but I think the people who run it do not have any hospitality experience, and as a result, we had to keep on asking questions. For example, The next property we stayed in had a welcome pack, dishwasher tablets, etc.
