The Bavarian Resort

Absolutely everything! When we come back to Arugam Bay, we will definitely stay here again. The location is perfect, because it is not right at the Main Street and very calm. Our little house was super clean and very nice. There’s everything you need. Also the resort in general is very beautiful with nice plants and trees, everything is done with love and care here. Our highlight was our host Faisal. He is super caring and was always there when we needed anything. We had nice conversations and learned a few things about Sri Lankan culture, food and plants. Thank you for everything, I hope we meet again soon!

Everything!! The host was AMAZING to us. The room was clean and spacious, good a/c and fan. We included breakfast in our stay and had fresh fruit and a main. Great location, no more than a 5 min walk to the Main Street and beach. Great WiFi too. We also enjoyed the outdoor shower to wash off sand. Highly recommend if you’re looking for amazing value for money and a comfortable stay ♥️

The owner was incredibly kind and friendly, and always made sure we were comfortable. I also liked that there was a shower outside the room, which was very convenient after coming back from the beach.

Located in an alley, though very central, without being too noisy at night. Good breakfast, changes everyday. Owner is extra smiley and extra arranging (let us do a late checkout).
