The food was great. The bed was great. The shower was great. The TV was poor. Couldn't even get BBC1 for The Traitors!!! And it is just a bit tired, But if it was dressed up, then it would turn into a boutique hotel and be twice the price. We chose it because it was the right situation. It suited us perfectly.
A TV that works properly should be essential.

Really lovely location, perfect place for a night away as a family. The breakfast was incredible and the staff and atmosphere was great.
The beds were quite firm, which some may really like, but it was just a bit too much for myself.

We always stay at The Poltimore when visiting relatives in the neighbourhood. Lovely staff, good food and wine and very comfortable lodges.
We love everything about it. The only thing that could be improved would be a plug socket near the mirror for hairstyling.
