The location (Selfoss) was very convenient for our arrival night stay to continue our next day visit to the Golden Circle with a Bonus store close by but in a quiet neighborhood with parking space at the door. The host answered my messages in a timely manner with details, and the 3-bedroom apartment was comfy and spacious. We really enjoyed our 2-night stay here.

1. The lighting in the living room area wasn't quite enough for reading/working though it provided a comfy/warm atmosphere. However, there's another table in the kitchen for solving the matter. 2. The waste separation wasn't a problem for us at all, but extra garbage bags would really be useful, especially for longer stays.

Easy to find; parking very accessible. Very comfortable beds.

The shower didn’t drain properly and the bathroom floor flooded. The apartment was a bit cramped.

Bardzo duży przestronny apartament z trzema sypialniami, kuchnia, łazienka. Czysto, pachnąco. Dobre wyposażenie. Bardzo polecam i jeżeli ponownie odwiedzę Islandię, to na pewno chętnie skorzystam. Miejsce parkingowe przed samym wejściem do budynku. Blisko sklep i stacja benzynowa.

The apartment was clean and prepared for guests. It took a minute or two the owner appeared at the door, explained the system (in broken English) and suggested some ideas for visiting. He was nice and polite. The room was small, but well equipped, as was the kitchen.

The training I received for the owner. In the apartment there were TWO notes forcing guest to work for the owner. For free, of course. According to the owner, the guests must take care about their garbage, including taking it out to the selective containers. And the guests have to clean their dishes in the dishwasher. Dear Owner. I always leave the place in a very good shape (there were situations when the cleaning lady asked: anybody lived for one week?). But no, I'm not going to rack leaves for you, neither to put some asphalt on your driveway. Also, the owner asked me to repark my car (parked for check in only), but later on the other car parked across the remaining spaces and this was ok. I paid well too much for the apartment and being concerned about the owner understanding the TOURIST I definitely do not recommend this place. And, the key box is old and inefficient. It takes many trials to put correct code. Unless you are the owner, and this is my point. OWNER, not tourist.
