A very comfortable room which left me totally relaxed!

Nothing not to like!

It was beautifully clean! Which was a comfort after seeing the state of the neighbourhood. And nicely decorated nicely. It was a pleasant surprise to find a microwave in the room but it was not in the description, which would have really helped.

The key was left in a very obvious place under a lot round the back, which was helpful but several people in the adjacent car park saw where I got the key from which is super unsafe for anyone staying in the building as anyone could have taken the key before me and entered the building or easily made a copy and have access whenever they choose. This is a serious concern. The immediate location is not great and certainly not safe at night. But good in as much as not far from anywhere. The mattress was bad but a decent topper would make the bed a better. There was no muslin curtain on the window for daytime privacy so the curtains had to remain shut all the time. The curtains are not suitable and let a lot of streetlight in at night keeping me awake. You need properly lined curtains (don't have to be new) and need to cover the window edges properly too. The breakfast was very poor. A B&B serves a cooked English breakfast with several extras. Not an instant porridge pot and biscuit, which is worst than what the travellodge offers. This place should not be advertised as a B&B since it isn't one. It's misleading. It would really help to not have tea things on a slate or plastic tray as everything made so much noise. Any I mean a lot of noise. A wooden board would absorb noise a bit more and a padded matt would be even better. I was in the small, funny shaped room. A, I think. And the door lock was also very, very noisy. It was ridiculously noisy unlocking and locking the door in the night and early in the morning. It would be great to have a bolt lock on the inside to make the room safer as anyone can pick a standard lock and there is no other way to secure the door.

Shower was hot and strong flow

Bed wasn't comfortable and the curtains were thin and didn't cover the window. The bright light from the kebab shop opposite shone straight into the room.
