City Hotel - HEEFA OHG

Good location

N/A

Close to the railway station, and affordable. The room was basic but comfortable.

It would have been nice if there was a kettle and mugs, but as a basic hotel it was fine. They do have a vending machine on reception to make tea and coffee for a small fee but the quantity was small.

This hotel is located just accross the main train station, so itis very easy to reach the station, which is usually very lively, and at the other exit of station there is the main shopping/walking street of Hamburg. The room is adequate size for a single traveler, bed & pillows were quite comfortable, bathroom/towels/hair dryer etc were all fine. I traveled in mid september, so normally heating is off in Germnay by default at some places, but in this hotel it was on: just turn the valve, and the room is very well heated! This was important for me, so I did appreciate. Last but not the least, reception was quite friendly and helpful, it was raining and the young lady in the reception borrowed me her own umbrella so that I could go to station and bought myself one; and returned hers only after a few hours. Overall, I was not expecting much from this hotel, but in terms of price/performance, it exceeded ny expectations, may happily stay there in my next visit to Hamburg!

Nothing

The location very close to the Hamburg hbf. The 24hr open reception

The value for money.
