Perfect perfect location- no walking on dusty roads with your luggage needed. The staff were very nice and super helpful. Rooms were clean and very well maintained. Was very happy with the price to experience ratio :)

Water only got warm, nothing beyond the ordinary in Nepal. There were some misquotes flying around- but I think that’s 100% unavoidable in that area. Lumbini is misquote city!

Our group of 20+ foreign Buddhist pilgrims really enjoyed the quaint atmosphere of the Mirage Inn! It's located in a very good spot where we could easily walk towards the Maya Devi Temple and the Birthplace of Gautama Buddha. The owner and staff were very friendly and courteous to us, and the dinner and breakfast service was delicious (but food would run out, so we had to wait for more food to be made). The rooms were extremely spacious and comfortable, and they actually had hot water for taking a shower, unlike other places we stayed at in India. I highly recommend this place.

The only thing I would say is that the dinner and breakfast buffet would tend to run out of food, but the staff would replenish the food as quickly as they could. We had some seniors in our group (+65 or older), and the Mirage Inn does not have an elevator, so this can be a challenge for those who have a lot of luggage and/or climbing stairs.

The sice of of the room includes the bathroom, so the whole place is not as big as we were expecting. since the street is dryground, the resort is dusty evenhoug the property tries to clean it constantly.
