The staff were very friendly. Sarah the manager said we could lock our bikes in the cellar as we were riding the Mendips Way. The room was clean, with comfy beds and bedding, there was plenty of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits, and one of the best showers. We also ate in the pub which was great value for money. Would highly recommend.
Squeaky floorboard but this couldn’t be helped as was a very old building.

Friendly staff.
History of the hotel was interesting.
Good location for the town centre.
Bathroom in room 1 was a little dirty and cramped.
Spiral staircase to the rooms was not mentioned in the particulars and not accessible for disabled.
No parking or breakfast on site.
Not keen on the fact that the pub guests sat outside the room smoking. Therefore you couldn't open a window.
