The Pod Sydney

Location was great, in the city centre with easy access from the airport. A large supermarket is across the street, many food outlets in the area. The beds were very private with blinds. The accommodation is relatively busy; there were people out and about at all hours. Everyone was very quiet and polite. Definitely not a party hostel! Staff was amazing, very responsive. Access to all conveniences was great, with fast internet, and I loved the many power outlets in the pod. Overall, I expected to have a short and peaceful solo stay to discover the city centre, and this accommodation was perfect for this!

With the room at full occupancy it was getting quite stuffy, there was no fresh airflow, only a ceiling air duct. Lower bunks are on the ground, a bit uncomfy for folks with limited mobility.

Friendly and helpful staff, I was allowed to store my luggage there while I went to do an overnight stay in the Blue mountains, fresh towels provided daily, free shower gel and shampoo provided upon request, good location in the CBD, hostel was quiet and cozy, bathrooms were very clean.

Not really a 'pod', the sleeping space was open at the top and only has a fabric curtain to prevent sounds/light from the other residents.
