Nothing everything was perfect

Very warm, friendly and excellent service from everyone at the Riad. A Beautiful, Peaceful Oasis in the Heart of Marrakech We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Riad Azzar, and we honestly couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised. This was our first time staying in a riad, and it has completely changed our view of accommodation in Morocco. From now on, we would absolutely choose a riad over a hotel when staying in Marrakech! From the very beginning, Fatima was incredibly helpful in arranging our airport transfer, which made our arrival completely stress-free. When we arrived, Ayoub gave us such a warm welcome and took the time to talk us through the map of Marrakech and give us some helpful recommendations. It was such a lovely introduction to the city. Our room was beautifully presented and very comfortable. We quickly got the hang of navigating the Medina, and one of our favourite things about Riad Azzar was its location. You are right in the heart of the Medina, with all the hustle and bustle just a short walk away, but the moment you step inside the riad, it feels like you have entered a completely different world. It is such a peaceful oasis — so quiet and tranquil that you genuinely couldn’t hear a pin drop! Every morning at breakfast, we were greeted with a lovely smile, and the Moroccan pancakes quickly became my favourite! The team were also incredibly attentive to our vegetarian dietary requirements and made sure we were well catered for. We really have to mention the whole team — Soumia, Rachida, Najat and Ayoub — who were all amazing. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and everything was done with such warmth and a smile. We genuinely appreciated how well looked after we felt throughout our stay. The housekeeping was also excellent. Our room was cleaned and kept beautifully tidy every day, even on the days when we left the room later than usual, which we really appreciated. We will definitely remember our stay at Riad Azzar

Great Hospitality, peaceful hotel

Everything has been perfect

Riad Azzar was a beautifully calm and serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the Marrakesh souks! The staff were all welcoming and friendly and simply couldn’t have done enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The room was beautifully clean and the breakfast we had each day was so delicious, we even got a breakfast to go on the day we were leaving at 6.30am!

The Riad is based just a couple of streets away from the main square, later in the evening it could feel a little quiet when walking back alone - just something to be aware of if you’re a female traveller. We didn’t experience anything untoward, it’s just worth noting.
