Mountbatten Hotel

Quiet location, away from the centre. Easy parking on the street. I would stay here again.

I stayed at this hotel one night only after arriving from France on the Ferry. It was perfect for that purpose: simple but very clean and functional. I met both the owners (I believe) and they were very welcoming and pleasant. I was traveling by bike, and they made no problem with keeping my bike safe indoor at night. All in all: I am very happy with my stay and would stay there again if I happen to spend in Plymouth in the future

Sound insulation between rooms is not great. The person in the adjacent room arrived quite late and it made quite a bit of noise (firs proof doors slamming, but also general noise from inside the room). I guess is is down to the structure of the building and there is not much the owners can do to prevent it.

Excellent location, tucked away and very good value for money. Bed was really nice mattress.

Not much

The location for the torpoint ferry was great , the owners are very friendly. You get a key for the outside door so you can come and go as you please. The room was a good size and good choice of hot drinks and very tasty biscuits provided. Nice park on the doorstep.

First night had a great sleep, bed was comfy , shower and toilet not in great shape but usable. On the second night we found the sound proofing between rooms is non existent and unfortunately we had the noisiest neighbour that I have ever had in any hotel stay ,shouting swearing banging on the wall until about one in the morning. Never loved my headphones so much. It was a game of two halves really liked the first night , 2nd night was a no from me which was disappointing. I may have been unlucky on this occasion.
