Sonas, Dunans

The owner, Margaret gave us very clear directions to get to the B&B so we didn't get lost, which was great! It is in an amazing location, with beautiful views! When we got there she made us feel extremely welcome. She let us settle in and then brought homemade scones, which was a lovely treat! The room is within their bungalow, so you are sharing their home. Margaret and Miles were very welcoming, and their dog is lovely! We were cheeky and took our own food to cook, and Margaret was really nice about it, helping us with the pans and crockery we needed. The room and en-suite were both very clean, and had tea/coffee making facilities . The breakfast was amazing, and really filled us up for the day while we travelled around the stunning Isle of Skye! Margaret gave us a tip to go to the Museum of Life first, and then make our way around the island, which was great advice! She and Miles were so lovely, it was sad to say goodbye on the 3rd day as we were leaving.

Nothing to dislike, it was all really lovely! Just know it's not a big B&B with lots of bedrooms, but a room in their home, so you will need to be very respectful of noise etc, just as they are respectful to their guests.

Our room was clean, comfortable and with a beautiful view of the sea. The breakfast was delicious and our hosts were lovely.

Our host was very kind, welcoming and respectful. Gorgeous location, quite secluded but near some major sightseeing points. Breakfast was nice and the ensuite was spacious and clean.

Didn't affect us, but would need your own transport to get there easily.

Amazing location that is in the away from civilisation. The host was very lovely, caring and thoughtful. Amazing breakfast. Totally recommend.
