The location was perfect for what we wanted, close to some fabulous scenery and within walking distance of some good pubs. The accommodation was basic but comfortable and spotlessly clean.
The breakfast window was a little short, from memory I think it was 8:15 - 8:45, which I thought was a little early for a Sunday, so unfortunately we missed it, but probably our fault for having a late night!😆

stunning location! my large room had a view over the rolling hills. there were sheep everywhere; swallows were happily dive bombing the roof right above my window. in the morning: delicious scrambled eggs!
the shower was almost impossible to turn on - at one point i was going to give up, but i had been driving for two days in the heat wave with the roof down and couldn't bear the thought of another day feeling gritty. smelling worse.
the lighting was terrible - tiny lamps on low nightables - couldn't read in bed.
the taxidermied animals everywhere were not only creepy, but i spent the night coughing and sneezing.
