La struttura era molto bella, spaziosa, silenziosa, accogliente.

I was here to compete in a judo tournament at the Hotel Hills Sarajevo, which is a 3 minute walk from Sarajevo Luxury Apartments - which was superb. We arrived late due to flights and delays but Sevda, the hosts mother, was waiting for us (she doesn't speak much English but a wonderful lady and we managed to communicate fine). We were recommended to contact Vedad for transfer from the airport and he was brilliant. Car was waiting for us at the airport and took us straight to the apartment. We chose the van which was 40 Euro each way - but we avoided any queues at the airport and Vedad knew the way. The apartment is very big and can host about 8, so we had plenty of space. There is a large hallway in the entrance and stairs which lead up to the apartment. There is a seperate toilet and the bathroom straight ahead - shower was lovely but couldn't get the rain shower to work. Then there are three bedrooms - to the left two single beds and a bunk bed, to the right two single beds. I took the room on the far right with the double bed. This was VERY comfortable. There is a lot of space which was great. The lounge/kitchen is on the left at the end. There is a large table which can sit 8, an L shaped sofa (which is a bit hard to sit on) and the balcony which runs around the outside. There is a small kitchen with a hob (which didn't work), a microwave/oven (which we didn't use) and a fridge which was brilliant. There is a Bosch washing machine in the bathroom which is excellent - we used to have one of these and washes brilliantly. We were able to freshen up clothes we used to travel out. We only spent time on the balcony looking at the assortment of kittens and cats which roam the yards and are fed by an old bloke on a mobility scooter. There are birds of prey hunting around the perimiter of the airport. The wifi seemed fine for out use, but if you are looking to stream then you may struggle.

The apartment is right next to the runway and you can be disturbed by planes landing and taking off. Thankfully Sarajevo is a pretty quiet airport so its not frequent but they start arriving about 0615 and can leave up to 2300. We spent most of the time out so it really didn't bother us that much. We couldn't get the tv to work at all - my Netflix account did not work in Bosnia and the tv is not connected for YouTube, we gave up. Not a big deal, so we talked. The kitchen area is limited, there seemed to be a fault on the electric hob which kept cutting out, luckily there was a seperate single electric hob so we managed to cook my pre-match meal.

Die Unterkunft war rundum passend für unsere Reise. Die Lage war für uns perfekt, die Unterkunft war sauber und geräumig. Der Check-in war problemlos und die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war stets unkompliziert und wir erhielten auf alle Fragen schnelle und hilfreiche Antworten.
