A nice well kept apartment with parking about a 10 minute walk from the lake.

The fact we only stayed for one night.

We enjoyed our stay at Kingfisher. The accommodation itself is comfortable and practical rather than luxurious, but it has several things that made it a very good stop during our road trip. The host was very kind and helpful, and having parking on the property was a big plus for us. There is also a washing machine available, which was absolutely perfect as we were right in the middle of a longer trip and really needed to do some laundry. The pool area is lovely and very relaxing, and there are outdoor seating areas where you can sit, have a drink and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The property has a slightly rural, authentic feel while still being only around a 15-minute walk from the centre. There is also a small shop nearby, which is very convenient. Our room was spacious and had a kitchenette and refrigerator, so it was easy to prepare a simple breakfast or keep drinks and food cold. One tip for other travellers: if you walk back from the centre at night, part of the route crosses the railway tracks and can be a little tricky in the dark. It is easy enough once you know the way, and the owner explains it, but using your phone flashlight is helpful. Overall, Kingfisher is a very good-value, comfortable and practical place to stay, especially if you are travelling by car or doing a longer road trip. The pool, parking, laundry facilities, kitchenette and friendly host made it a really useful and enjoyable stop for us.

The room was generally comfortable, although there were a few small cleaning details such as some cobwebs that could be improved.

Extremely spacious apartment. We were only two but there was enough space for a full family with two bedrooms and a total of three beds and a couch. Very clean. Modern bathroom with good water temp and pressure. Beds comfortable. Friendly staff. Very efficient and useful kitchen area. Very nice pool area which was great on a hot day. Interesting view out the back of the mountains and surrounding homes (very rustic). Apparently there is a path that leads from the apartments to the area in which you pick up the boats from the Lake Skadar boat tours. We chose to drive because it was hot, which ended up costing us 15 euro to park. They also offered dinner and breakfast services, but we did not use them. Wifi worked fine.

It was hot when we were there and the A/C blower was only in the main living space leaving the bedrooms a bit warm but not bad. You park on the street and then walk down to your apartment. For us it mean three flights of stairs. A bit tough with the luggage (though they did offer to help to bring it up upon check out). This is not a criticism of this location as we noticed it throughout our trip but simply a heads up for travellers coming from North America and Western Europe: Montenegrin apartment aesthetics can be different than what one normally anticipates in other European countries.
