Staff and accomodations were great! Obviously not 5 star, but I do not like 5 star. CC very clean, well maintained, lovely setting, nice pool for single lounger like me. And has what 5 star is missing, which is bonafide " local feel."
Though great location near malecon and wonderful swimming beach, about a 5-10 minute walk around the block to get to beach. Did not bother me a bit, but if you had small kids, beachfront might work better.

Comfortable and quiet. We got the unit with a full kitchen and living area. The casitas are in a neighborhood, rather than a tourist strip, which was nice. Bed was very comfortable. Plenty of closet and storage area. The staff was kind and friendly. Some beautiful neighborhood cats like to stroll through--I enjoyed the cat watching. This was my third trip to Loreto and the casitas were by far the quietest place I've stayed.
While the casitas are close to the harbor, there's not a direct street. You have to go a few blocks to get there. Not a big deal, but if you have mobility issues you should be aware that it's a little farther than it looks on the map.

Such a sweet place to stay! This is my third time staying at Coco Cabanos and I will stay again. The rooms are spacious, exceptionally clean, and the 2 pools were both great. Walking to the beach and downtown takes about 5 min. Quiet location. Friendly staff!

Coco Cabanas & casitas is within walking distance to the Malacon, shopping and restaurants.
* As is often the case in Mexico, during peak water usage times there was very little water pressure.
* Long term guests staying several months were rude and inconsiderate.
