Host was very welcoming, personable, friendly and attentive, she couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. Big rooms, very beautiful stained glass windows, quiet room near the main road but not intrusive during our stay
Mattresses a little hard and toilets didn't flush very well as with most Spanish toilets.

A lovely big house a short walk from the charming main square in Sant Mateu, where there are several nice bars and restaurants. The house itself was very comfortable and had absolutely everything, including a lovely outdoor pool and a gym. The hosts really could not have been more helpful, letting me park my motorbike in their own garage and providing me with a pump to inflate my tyres in the morning. I didn't book breakfast but sat with Leila and her husband in the kitchen having tea and cake, allowing me to practice my Spanish. If I'm in the area again in the future, I'd definitely return here.
Didn't have the chance to use the pool.
