Appia Antica Cottage

Appia Antica Cottage is the perfect Roman holiday stay. The place itself is comfortable, relaxing and has a feel of being in the countryside. It is only a few minutes' walk away from the Via Appia Antica. Public transport is available at the bottom of the drive to either the metro or to another bus stop that takes you into the city centre by Circus Maximus and the Aventine Hill. Andrea and Frederica are the perfect hosts, offering support when needed, but leaving you to enjoy your holiday. Breakfast is left for you to have whenever you want and the choice is wide. The swimming pool is the perfect way to spend warm days when you're having a break from sightseeing. We'd definitely come again and highly recommend Appia Antica Cottage.

Having to go home!

Super cute property with a pool. Lots of areas for lounging outside. The little breakfast kitchen is also very nice to have and had everything you might want. The people who run the property are very nice and hospitable. Property was being cleaned and maintained every day.

Room service doesnt come daily so you do have to clean up after yourself during the stay. More like an air bnb. I wish the room had a mini fridge to keep drinks cold. A more modern lock for the door would also be nice since it had just a skeleton key. This property is about 30-45 minutes away by public transport to the downtown of Rome. To get to the nearest restaurant you need to walk at least 10-15 minutes or take a taxi. Same thing with the grocery store.

Beautiful, quite, clean. Location is great! after a day of touring it is a great place to get out if the city and relax! Hosts were so helpful and friendly! Perfect place to stay, highly recommend!!!
