I chose Heritage Gouri Haveli because I wanted to stay in the old city and this place is truly charming. It is beautifully presented - with attention to layering of history, beautiful artifacts, garden. It was a feast for my eyes when I arrived.
The room was large and lovely and the roof top restaurant has a spectacular view of the forte.
The hotel and restaurant staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Power went out a few times but can be expected in an old building

Had a fantastic stay at the Gouri Heritage Hotel. The staff went above and beyond for us to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We ate at the restaurant both nights of our stay because the food was so delicious. I would particularly recommend the laal maas curry. Thank you to all the staff :)
