Location!

Matras was a bit soft for our taste.

We had a wonderful stay in Lake Como! Such a beautiful place to spend a few days and a lovely home base for exploring the area. We loved slowing down and soaking up the charm of the lake. It was a memorable part of our trip, and we were sad to leave. We would happily stay here again!

Very well decorated, clean, spacious room.

Wished there was a closet/ wardrobe for storage, there were only two small pillows for sleep, could have used an extra set for comfort.

Prettily decorated and the bathroom/shower were great; bed was very comfortable and location was good.

Check in instructions weren’t clear or straightforward; had to request kettle, iron + board and coat hangers; consumables (ie milk, tea bags, shower gels) provided were completely insufficient for the 3 nights we were staying; no tea cups (just tiny shot coffee cups); tiny fridge with shelf space for only small water bottles); place was overall very noisy with lots of doors slamming and activity from early in the morning; no closet or wardrobe / storage space just an open hanging rack (no hangers provided); only 2 pillows. Beatrice our host was responsive to our initial request for kettle/iron/hangers but the broader issues we experienced were so many and fundamental it didn’t seem worth bothering her with them.
