Ortigia Bed And Breakfast

Veronica and Nino were the loveliest hosts! They made our anniversary stay just wonderful! We were upgraded to a beautiful large room. It was nicely appointed, very clean and very safe. Veronica made us the best cappuccinos and her home made pastries were delicious! There was a very nice variety of food offered for breakfast! Their recommendations for restaurants were the best!! Thank you again, we will definitely stay at Ortigia bed-and-breakfast next time we are in Sicily!

It was perfect!

Perfectly located in the center of everything. Our hosts were friendly and made our stay very comfortable.

Nice host, clean place with small breakfast, and great location

Public parking garage 750 m away and would be nice to know ahead of time in order to make choice based on proper comparison

The owner was very kind, polite and helpful, which we appreciated.

However, we feel that the property should be more clearly described in the listing\. All the rooms are part of one shared house and are located in a common area separated by partitions\. The design is very new and modern, and the bathrooms are also new, clean and modern, but they are separated by wardrobe\-style doors and have no natural light\. We also had to check in by ourselves, even though the listing stated that check\-in was available until 11:00 pm\. Overall, this is not really a hotel or a traditional bed and breakfast\. It is more like a newly renovated, modern shared accommodation\. We believe guests should be made aware of this before booking, as the current description and hotel\-like pricing can create different expectations\.
