Royalton Hideaway Punta Cana, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort & Casino - Adults Only

It’s a truely beautiful resort, they have definitely paid attention to detail and have tried to cater to your every need. It does feel like paradise when you walk in. You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to beautiful photo scenery. Staff go out their way to make you feel welcome and are always smiling at you saying good morning even if you’ve never met them before. The rooms have everything you need and is very big. The fridge is stocked with drinks. There was a steamer in there as standard (I did get an iron on request). The AC is amazing especially coming in from the extreme heat. The shower was nice and hot with more than enough pressure. There were different restaurants to choose from when it’s time for dinner so you’re not limited to buffet food. There was also a burger truck there if you wanted to grab something quick whilst on the resort without having to go to a restaurant.

The buffet food was 6 out of 10 far from the best. Restaurants were good! I wouldn’t book the ocean view room again because you can hardly see the ocean from it and you don’t really stay in the room anyway, so I would say the room was a little over priced for what it was. The main pool was better than the hideaway pool as the bar for the main pool is actually inside the pool and it’s a lot bigger. The bars seemed to run out of a lot of the good drinks by the early afternoon and the beer tasted like watered down corona. The beach has been pretty much eroded so you have to walk up to the adjacent beaches sitting in front of neighbouring resorts if you want to have fun on the beach without being swallowed by the waves. Be prepared to be repeatedly approached by vendors on the beach, particularly those selling photos with parrots, monkeys and lizards.

My butler service was spectacular! Thank you Rodvel. You were above reproach and deserve to be a 5 star resort! I also liked being in the Hideaway for a more adults only exclusive feel. The resort entrance and throughout is definitely nice. The service and workers were all very nice! Hibachi was excellent!

I paid for Diamond Club. It gave me nothing special. They ran out of simple drinks like lemonCielo. The swim up room was ok. Their rooms are standard and not as special as the cost. My bathroom ceiling was coming apart every time I took a shower. They had to come fix it temporarily clearly. The food was decent at most places but not the best. We had to wait 45 mins at the steakhouse when we were first in line at the opening. The entertainment was ok. There was a great Spanish band one night in the rain. Couldn't go to the beach AT ALL. It was not blue. I went in September. Seaweed was terrible.
