Location, location, location. Near all attractions, restaurants, sights, & local bus lines. The common facilities exceeded my expectations: Kitchen is fully stocked with just about every appliance you may need. Method of storing individuals' food is extremely well organized, and there is even some some common foodstuffs like salt, pepper, tea, sugar, etc., saving you from having to buy full packages of same. Roof top terrace is idyllic for a happy hour glass of wine and watching the sun go down. The TV lounge looks super comfy with couches, chairs and the largest TV I have ever seen, although I had a private room and did not use the lounge.

The private room I had (#60) has everything you need except counter space of any kind. But for the difference in price compared to local hotels, having to spread out toiletries and such isn't such a hardship for a few nights. Room was basically clean, except for the bed pillows. The occupant before me had extremely long, straight, black hair. I know this because I found several strands between the pillow and the pillow case. These were promptly changed upon request. Shower stall is surprisingly roomy, although paint is peeling where the wall meets the ceiling.

Great location, clean facilities, friendly staff

Not the hostel's fault, but I stayed one night and there was a group of 3 men talking loudly and laughing at 3am like other people weren't sleeping.
